Photo Wall Project:

We did some test prints of some of our favorite photos and decided it would be fun to display a few on our blank wall in the family room. The hardest part was deciding which photos to choose, so we devised a system that would allow us to easily swap them out every few months. Instead of using nails to hang the pictures we put up a series of shelves and bought frames that have a wide enough edge to stand up on their own.

Here is the scale diagram I created to plan the layout of the wall:

Changing out photos is quick and easy. Lift the frame from the shelf, open up the back and replace the photo, place back on shelf.

I'll have to work on getting a real photo of the completed project.
