03R/W Sysex Strings
Sysex Strings:
Tired of manually changing 03R/W modes between sequences? Here are a
couple codes that you can send from your sequencer to change modes for you. There is also
a Cakewalk .INI setup included in text format.
| 03_comb.syx |
Places 03R/W in COMBI mode |
| 03_multi.syx |
Places 03R/W in MULTI/GM
mode |
| 03_prog.syx |
Places 03R/W in PROG mode |
setmulti.syx
|
Sets bend range for all
instruments in MULTI mode to +12. Also sets channels 13-16 in C+D panning. This changes
the outputs of the channels to 3 & 4 to allow different mixing and to keep the fx
buses separate (great for drums). thanks to: Cistobal Mendoza |
| 03RWCake.txt |
In case you have an older
version of Cakewalk, this text file contains the .INI setup for the 03R/W. Copy setup info
from the text file to your Cakewalk .INI file. thanks to: Rody

How about spinning your own .syx files?
The following codes can be placed into a sysex file and sent to your 03R/W from a
sequencer or sysex utility program. The dump request macros will request the 03R/W to send
back the associated data to the midi port.
To create a sysex file just copy the F0 through F7 from this page and paste it into a
new text file. Save the new text file with a .syx extension (PC) in simple text format.
Several of the commands can be grouped together in one sysex file.
